As a partner with a team or driver in the Road to Indy since 2019, Turtle Plastics has rejoined HMD Motorsports and the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires program in 2021. As the HMD Motorsports effort grows with the partnership with Global Racing Group, Turtle Plastics will look to take advantage of business-to-business programs put forth by the expanding Indy Lights program and will have a major presence at several events throughout the 2021 season.

“We welcome Turtle Plastics back to HMD Motorsports,” explained Henry Malukas. “We look forward to working with them in several different programs including the “Laps for Legacy” program to help raise awareness and funding for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, promoting their business and products as well as opening up new avenues of opportunities for them within the Road to Indy. Additionally, we open more possibilities with our connection with Christian Pedersen and Global Racing Group with the opportunities being endless for the years to come.”

Entering the 2019 Road to Indy as a partner with Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship driver Tim Pagliuso, the team will level up in 2021 to the Indy Lights program, reestablishing the partnership that was pushed to the wayside due to the cancelled 2020 season

“Tim Pagliuso has played a major role in serving as our safety products spokesman and creating business opportunities in the motor sport racing industry,” explained Turtle Plastics President Liz Demetriou. “He has been able to bring us into a world that we knew little about. Connecting us with RTD Media and Management’s Mike Maurini last year, as well as with HMD Motorsports, several plans were put forth including a flourishing partnership. It is a pleasure to work with HMD Motorsports and provide a trackside experience for our customers, VIP’s and potential clients that money could not buy, and we look forward to taking advantage of the program and cheering on the HMD Motorsports and Global Racing Group drivers.”

2021 is set to be an exciting season for HMD Motorsports and Global Racing Group with a four-car Indy Lights effort including Nikita Lastochkin and David Malukas in the HMD Motorsports entries and Benjamin Pedersen and Linus Lundqvist in the Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports cars.
