Super Tile
Was born as an answer to the product from New Zealand called Ergo Matte. This product came to the U.S. through Canada and boasted several important features.
1. Bigger openings so more debris could go through.
2. Taller, thicker so more debris could be contained within the tile.*
3. A larger module size for faster install because of labor costs.
*1 and 2 make the assumption that “they are never going to clean the matting so let’s make it easier to pour more debris into it.
We were tempted to just go out and make an 18”x18” (their size) and join the competition abandoning our very successful 12” square module.
No! We said we can easily make the 12”x12” into a 24”x24” or 36”x36” etc.
So following their reasoning an 18”x18” goes down again as fast then 24”x24” is almost six times as fast and 36”x36”…well go figure.
So our Super Tile:
